Ruined Project? : Is It Worth The Hype?

Lately, my social media news feed has been full of beautiful places offering a quick reprieve from the usual day-to-day-pandemic-slash-political issues we all are facing.  One of these places is Ruined Project? In Tagaytay.  The pictures shown in social media are so Instagram-worthy that we decided to schedule a visit to this place.

Ruined Project? was visualized to be Coffee Project’s flagship store.  It is located at Crosswinds Tagaytay, a popular area in Tagaytay also dubbed as the Christmas Village.

The moment I entered Ruined Project?, I was reminded of The Grounds of Alexandria, a famous coffee place in Sydney, Australia.  Why though?  Every area in this place is as what the photos in social media depicts – Instagram-worthy.

Ruined Project? has an open space the sits at the side of a cliff, so be prepared for the cold Tagaytay weather when you visit.

The food at Ruined Project? is good, but expensive.  The coffee and cake price ranges from Php200 to Php250.  Food price ranges from Php100 to Php150 for breads and up to Php400 for regular dishes.  These prices should be all right if the serving size is not meager.

Ruined Project? is a perfect place to have a coffee date with your friends and love ones, but in my opinion, not the place for family get together.  So, if you’re planning to visit Ruined Project? leave the kids behind and enjoy the coffee and view that this place can offer.
