Dine at Cavite: Ricardo’s Coffee + Classic Cuisine ~ Amadeo, Cavite

Our next feature restaurant for our Dine-At-Cavite mini-series is Ricardo’s Coffee + Classic Cuisine.  Ricardo’s is located at Amadeo, Cavite, a town close to Tagaytay.

Ricardo’s Coffee + Classic Cuisine offers a variety of dishes, from Filipino favorites like tapas, to Italian cuisine like pastas and pizzas, to American favorites like burgers and cakes.

Here’s the menu offerings of Ricardo’s:

Ricardo’s has an al fresco dining.  The whole outdoor dining can accommodate an estimate of 50 diners at a time.  The place also sells plants and a huge part of Ricardo’s is a garden place.

There is a small area that is dedicated for showcasing arts particularly paintings of local artists.

We arrived around 3pm and these are our orders:

Chicken Saltimbocca. Php 335. They told us this is their best seller. And it taste nice.
Sourdough Pizza Margherita. Php435.
Pork Cassoulet. Php 340. My son was able to finish this meal ASAP.
Spaghetti Bolognese with Meatballs. Php 295. Just your regular Italian spaghetti.  My son loved the meatballs though.

We requested for drinking water but sadly, they only offer bottled water for diners.  We ordered 3 bottled water and a pitcher of iced tea (php150).   A 350ml bottled water cost Php39.  It was expensive for me, and I should have checked the menu first before ordering a lot of beverage.

To be honest, the dishes taste okay.  Whenever we dine on a particular restaurant, there would always be that one dish that would leave an impression to me.  There was none during our dine at Ricardo’s.  Maybe, I should visit again and order other selections from their menu.

While dining, a small band started singing to the diners in each table.  They sang Dynamite by BTS and that made our dining experience at Ricardo’s quite unique. 🙂

There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant available for no more than 10 cars.  Going to Ricardo’s is easy for public commute as it is located along Crisanto Delos Reyes Avenue, the highway directly connecting the towns of General Trias, Amadeo, and Tagaytay.

If you’re looking for a family friendly place to dine al-fresco, try Ricardo’s Coffee + Classic Cuisine.
